Well, you may still have the undo files. Often the folder in Program Files
remains when it contains stuff made since a program's installation, and by
rights undo reg files ought to be retained. Might be worth checking. Quick
way would be to do a search of Program Files for *.REG.

Shane, OK there are five files found under Program files. Each are 1kb.
When
I double click on them it says: Are you sure you want to add the
information
in " " to the registry? the name of each file is in the quotes. They are
in Program/Common/System/ADO (and MSADC)...reg. There are other files that
are found that when dbl clicked ask me the same thing. They are in
Windows/AllUsers/ApplicationData/Spybot and Windows/system
Should I say yes to any of these? do you need more info? I really
appreciate

No, leave them all alone, none of them appear to be related to Registry
Mechanic, you may as well write that off as a possibility. Besides which,
Richard's advice is probably as good as it's going to get (sorry!).
