Scott,
I have read somewhere that OE has problems with large numbers of

messages
in
its default folders e.g. Inbox and you should keep the number to a

minimum.
I think the info is at this web site http://www.insideoe.com/ but I

can't
find the article at present. As a suggestion, create a new personal

folder
for all the existing Inbox messages and move all of them to it. When I

have
located the info I am after, I will repost.

My wife is running Win98 and Outlook Express 6 on her desktop.
Sometimes when she opens OE, there are no messages showing in
the Inbox. There is this error message:

Folder Could Not Be Displayed
Outlook Express could not open this folder
Possible causes a
* low disk space
* low memory

Disk space and memory are not an issue. Rebooting always solves
the problem. This error comes up maybe once every 10 times.
There are only 750 messages in her inbox, so it's not overloaded.
The Sent and Deleted folders always work perfectly.

Any idea what the real problem is?

Thanks!
Scott
