I did try unplugging C:, changing jumpers on D: and installing Windows.
Unfortunately, I think I put the IE update on D: and the installation won't
boot. I get error messages that system.ini is calling for files that are
missing but I checked and they are there. I also get error messages that
make me think the new windows is using the autoexec from my old windows.
Mostly because it can't find the anitvirus file that is only on C: and has
not been installed yet. The other thing that happened is when I plugged C:
back in the new Windows Explorer wouldn't show it.

This felt like a lot of work to fix. Maybe I should try again? Any
ideas? Should I move everything off of D:, unplug C: and try again?

Thanks

Steve
