I assume you did a virus scan with an up to date program. More health
checks:
Spyware/scumware/adware are causing numerous system problems. I recommend
you download and use the following programs and consider removing everything

Hello all! Wondered if anyone could help. I've recently
started to have problems opening files (mainly image files
but sometimes text files too). When I try to open them it
takes 2 mins or so for it to actually happen. I've run
health checks and defragmented etc but to no avail. When
I'm online and try to open images previously downloaded I
have no problems. Also, the problem seems to disappear
once I come offline too. When I start up Windows I
sometimes get the following message:
RUNDLL - Error loading C:\WINDOWS\IMAGES.new
A Dynamic link library (DLL) initialisation routine failed.
OK. But what does that mean? Can I fix it? Help!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks, B.
