Also Make sure at the first page of Fdisk, when it asks
you to enable large disk support that you are
hitting "Y". Without it you are limited to 2 GB with the
fat32 file system

You can use WIPE or ZAP at this site to eliminate

everything from the drive
so that FDISK will see a blank drive.
