Easily done. And when something doesn't work it's so easy to blame the
operating system. :-)

Increasingly you are going to find that both new hardware and software is only
going to function where the operating system is either Windows 2000 SP3 or
later or XP or later. For example Microsoft Office, recent Corel software and
your new printer. Win 9x systems are in extended support and I feel it
unlikely that many new products are going to be released that work equally
well on a Win 9x system and an NT based system such as XP.
