Default ERROR Message

Can you boot to Safe Mode OK? (does the boot to Normal Mode proceed OK
anyhow?)
This looks as if it may be the remains of a virus or spyware infection (I
can find no references to such-named files in Google) - so it may simply be
a case (particularly if the boot in Normal Mode completes OK) of finding
the reference to SHRPP??.DLL in the startup axis and removing it.
to do this, boot the system, and go to
Start | Run
type
MSCONFIG
click OK
click on the 'Startup' tab, and look there for the entry corresponding to
the error message, and uncheck it
click OK, and reboot - test the system, and report back, with the exact
wording of the entry in MSCONFIG, and any new error messages that come up.
