Default Folder/files not showing up in my cd-rom drive

Burning a cd with content (a folder with video files) in it from a new
vista
computer, I take it to my old win 98 computer and the content of the cd
does
not show up! The old computer does, however, shows only that there is
455mb
taken up on the cd. Also, I know that the content is on the cd because i
can
view it on the new computer. Suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The win98 machine (I assume) has an older cdrom...
and though it has not failed...may be just slightly out of spec.

I've had a number of older cd roms that had trouble reading "burned" files.

Note: there can also be situations where files are not read due to the way
the data were burned.
...such as "open session". "Closed session" files are more likely to be
readable
