Default PCX Thumbnails in Explorer 98SE

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pcx]
@="PCXImage.Document"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pcx\ShellEx]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pcx\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}]
@="{1AEB1360-5AFC-11d0-B806-00C04FD706EC}"

That's what mine looks like, but I have no .pcx file with which to see
whether Thumbnails work for it. Are you sure you turned on Thumbnails
for it's folder? Looks like... I must...

(a) R-Clk the folder in the L=Pane, & check "Enable thumbnail view".
(b) Switch to another folder, & then back to this one.
(c) R-Clk in R-Pane, View, Thumbnails.

And here is what my .bmp looks like...

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bmp]
@="Paint.Picture"
"Content Type"="image/bmp"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bmp\ShellNew]
"NullFile"=""

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bmp\ShellEx]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bmp\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}]
@="{7376D660-C583-11d0-A3A5-00C04FD706EC}"

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,

| I do not seem to be able to get PCX images to display as thumbnails in

| I have tried the usual dodge, where thumbnails have mysteriously

relevant bits

|
| Can anyone throw some light on this, please?
