Until very recently (I believe), all pages that use JavaScript (e.g.

form
filling pages or pop up pages) used to work. Since I installed
KB891075 update, I no longer seem to be able to run them. I get no

error.
If, for instance, I click on a link that will open a new window, it

opens
the window, but does nothing.

Could this be due to the MS and Sun Java issue a while ago? If so,

how do I
go about sorting out the problem. I have JavaScript enabled in

Explorer.

I am using Win98SE with all critical updates patched.

TIA

It is not an issue with the Sun VS MS Java 'thing', they have kissed
and made up anyway.

Test your Java here
http://www.javatester.org/

Reinstall the 891075 update.
Resinstall 816093 MS Java build 3810.

Reinstall JavaScript (JScript)

In the event you make it this far down the list you can reinstall ie as
well. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer folder and double
click on ie6setup.exe, choose custom and select manually every item
that was installed previously.
