Hi,
I am getting ready to install Windows 98 on a 1ghz P3 with 512mb Ram system.
I have two hard drives a 10GB and a 40GB.
How should I partion them?
Whichever way suite the way you work.
I had a similar setup and partitioned the smaller drive into two, one DOS and
one non-DOS (where I put Linux)
The second hard drive I used for four logical partitions (D: E: F: and G
In FDISK I noticed options for DOS, Non-Dos, and logical, I am not sure
which to use for the second hard drive.
If you're not using another operating system (like Linux), make a DOS
partition, or several logical partitions.
Also which should be my primary drive the 10GB or the 40GB?
I used the smaller one as my primary drive, with the operating system on it,
and the bigger one for data.
