Default Windows 98 Install with floppy drive or disk

Hi Everyone

In order to play a couple of games and run a few programs that will only

run
on Windows 98, I am trying to re-install it on a disused PC which was

running
XP.

I have gone through all the normal Fdisk and partitions pages. I restart

it
and go through the windows install pages.

So I select "Start Windows 98 from CD Rom"
Click Enter to setup Windows
After a couple more screens I get to the Windows 98 Setup page and click
continue

I get the "Setup is preparing to install windows" message after which it
asks me where I want it installed (All so far so good).

So having selected c:\Windows.000 from the options I click next
Now it checks for "Installed Componants" and moves onto "Checking

available
disc space"

Here's the problem - the disc space checks get as far as 61% at which

point
if flashes up a message saying "Insert diskette for Drive B: and press any
key when ready". Now not only do I not have a start diskette, I also don't
have a floppy drive to insert it in on this machine.

Any thoughts?

You still have a Windows installation of your drive
if Windows defaulted to Windows.000

I'd format your drive
then start over fresh
