Gary,

According to Google, you are the only one who has posted that message on the
internet. Further, the MS Knowledge Base has no information on that error
either. There are some articles on "certification authorities store" that
may contain some help--search the KB at the URL in my signature.

i've been having a problem running a zonealarm installation program - it
gives me validation errors. their forum gives instructions for dealing
with this but in my case they don't solve the problem. i've downloaded a
certificate from verisign called getrootcert.cer but when i install it i
get the following error from the certificate manager import wizard: "an
error has occurred when adding a certificate to the intermediate
certification authorities store."

i tried a utility called rootsupd.exe that the ZA forum recommends but
that doesn't solve the problem either. generally how do i deal with
"certificates gone bad"? thanks for any help.
