Default Installation Disk Bad??

The computer tech who worked on my PC a few days ago told me my CD was bad.

There appears to be no *.ani files for the computer to find to add to my
Desktop Themes, hence the 0.0 mg. I can click on Desktop Theme Details and
select the themes but then I receive the error message about not finding
the .ani files anywhere on the computer or CD.

Your advice worked like a charm. You're the man!!!!!!!!

Now, for the second part of my original question. In the Add/Remove
Programs Properties Box, the Desktop Themes component shows 0.0. mb
and with my bad ME disk, I cannot download this component.
Suggestions???

Q1. Who on earth wants themes?
Q2. Why do you think your Win Me disk is "bad"?
A1. Themes showing 0.0MB in Add/Remove Programs | Windows setup is what
you should be seeing until you have installed a theme. Select Themes,
then click Details, select Desktop Themes support and 0.0MB should now
change to 3.7MB and then select your eye candy, sorry "theme", for example
checking yukball, sorry baseball, and you will see 0.0 change to 2.6MB.
Now click OK and you will see Themes showing 6.3MB, in other words the
2.6+3.7MB from earlier.
