Default Can't Open Pics By Double Clicking

You mention you use Corel Photo House, AFAIK corelpnt.exe is the executable for
Corel Photo Paint. Does CPH use the same executable? If not then the files need to be
reassociated with the correct .exe.

If you do have to reassociate them and they're not shortcuts:

or
Left click once on the file to hilite it, then hold down the Shift key and right
click on it to get the popup menu, select "Open With" from the list, select the
program you want to open it with, put a check in "Always open.......", apply/ok out.
It may be a good idea to leave "Always open......." unchecked until you are sure that
you have the correct program you want to use.
I find it a good idea to leave "Always open......." unchecked until you are sure that
you have the correct program you want to use. Once you are sure of the program to
use, then check it.

And if they are shortcuts:
Right click the file, click properties, type the correct path and .exe in the Target
box, click Apply Ok.

om...
Hi I'm hoping someone can help me. I discovered last week that my
computer was infected with lots of nasty spyware. So this morning I
ran the three programs I was told to use to clean that mess up with
(Ad-aware, Spybot, and SpySweeper) . All the spyware seems to be gone
and my computer is running much faster. I noticed though that when I
went into My Computer my graphic files looked odd. I've been using
Corel Photo House as my default photo viewer and the little icon next
to the names is missing. When I go to double click it says
corelpnt.exe is missing. But I do still have the program on my
computer. If I open the program directly I can view pictures. I also
have Photoshop 7 and PSP 7 that I can view the pictures with if I go
into the program directly. Is there anything I can do? Maybe make
PSP my default picture viewer? Any help or advice would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you!
