Default defragmenting C drive

There are two possibilities - either you've got a disk problem, or there is
a disk write during the defrag process.

- Shut down computer
- Disconnect all connections to the Internet, USB connectors, Ethernet,
printers
- Boot computer to boot menu (press F8)
- select Safe Mode Command Prompt, then run scandisk from the Command
prompt.
- When done, go to Windows, then select run Scandisk (Start PF
Accessories System Scandisk)
- Run Defrag

And let us know how it works out, man!

Would anyone know why I can't defrag my drive? It never
gets thru the "Checking drive for errors..." stage.

Please help.
Thx, Lindsay
