Well now it has been more than a week of rebooting and
restarting and trying anything i could. I finally got the
thing to stay on long enough for me to reinstall windows
but i cannot get it to stay on longer than about four
minutes at a time but at least now i can get to a screen.
I have been trying to do a disk clean up but it keeps
telling me there is an error found and i cannot continue.
I've tried defragmenting but that doesnt get very far
before it all turns off again. I just cant understand what
to do. I remember you asking what kind of drivers i have
but i dont know how to find that out or what to do after i
do figure that out.

Because it is a Windows problem, not DOS.

I am still at a loss
here. All my cables are in, no pins are bent, i cannot
figure it out. I have only had the computer for three
years its not old enough to be dying on me yet!

Not true, all new autos don't last their life expetency
either. Had you tried any of
the suggestions I posted other than checking the cables?
If so, what happens when you
do?
