Hi, I had this happen to me a few weeks ago I booted up one morning and just
a windows started to load the monitor switched of as if in standby mode.
Anyway I done a c: scanreg /restore and restored the registry to a previous
date before the fault occurred and that cured it Still don`t no what
caused it though.

I cannot figure out if i am having a software problem or
a hardware problem. Whenever i startup, i cannot get to
my desktop before my monitor turns itself off, all by

reinstall of windows but the monitor wont stay on long
enough for me to see if it has worked. the monitor will
stay on as long as i am running the reinstall but the
moment it is finished it turns itself off again and the
LED light goes from green to amber, as if its in standby

just throwing it away but i would really hate to have to
