I cannot figure out if i am having a software problem or
a hardware problem. Whenever i startup, i cannot get to
my desktop before my monitor turns itself off, all by
itself, even if i havent touched a key or my mouse. I
have tried everything i can think of, i have ran a
reinstall of windows but the monitor wont stay on long
enough for me to see if it has worked. the monitor will
stay on as long as i am running the reinstall but the
moment it is finished it turns itself off again and the
LED light goes from green to amber, as if its in standby
mode. I am really not sure what to do here, thinking of
just throwing it away but i would really hate to have to
do that if i can fix it. any help is welcome. Thank you.
