Thank you all for your responses on this matter; however, I have found the MS Knowledge Base Article - Q126631 that I used before. I have implimented its suggestions again and the Shortcut Icon Arrows are gone. This article is no longer available in the MS Knowledge Base so I am attaching a copy of it to this message for any who are interested.
