Hi,

I have just reinstalled the OS on my older pentium. The CD-Rom worked to
install the OS, but now that I am in the OS (Windows ME) it can see the CD
Rom drive, but cannot read any CD. Sometimes it recognizes data CDs to see
the name (IE it shows the Windows ME name when that disc is in). Most of
the time it doesn't recognize the CD or thinks it is an audio CD.

Eject the CD works 100% of the time, even from w/in Windows Explorer. I
have changed the CD Rom, to one that I recently tested on another machine,
same thing.

Any ideas?
