CapsLock key first. Then:

Google "word viewer" (with the quotes) gave 148,000 hits. The first
hit will take you to MS page where you can download (free) a program
that will open Word95 documents.

Your problem does not appear to be a lack of a font but more likely is
a file format problem although I am surprised that Word97 won't open a
Word95 document. If the Word Viewer doesn't open your file then you
probably have a corrupted document.
