Default V-Cache settings

To expand slightly on Richard's reply, remove all those settings by deleting those
three lines from the system.ini file, but leave the [vcache] section heading there
for future use.

BTW, Win98 does not even look at a ChunkSize setting there, so it is useless in
*any* case.

Read here for more detailed explanations, caveats, and exceptions:

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned my current VCache settings:
MinFileCache=4096
MaxFileCache=20480
chunksize=512

In my opinion, you should not make any changes to VCache settings unless

you
have more then 512MB of memory in your computer system.

What would you suggest I have as Min & Max settings for V-Cache?

I have PII350MZ with 64MB ram.

Thanks,
Dan
