I checked and found an older copy of AnyVideoConverter, [16MB] circa July
2010 installed back when I was trying to view other videos. I had tried
that version of AnyVideoConvert at the time and it failed miserably on
this machine.
My machine has not changed since then [I think, perhaps kernel got
installed]
Are you certain that later versions of AnyVideoConverter would work
better?
Seems to me the bloated code,
going from 16MB to 31+Mb,
would be more to address WinXP, etc.
