Do the jumper blocks look like this?

Another upside-down view of the same:

Both hard drives are Quantum Fireballs. ONe is 13GB, and the other is
5GB. I have it hooked up like I thought it was before, and it still
won't boot. How to you clear the memory? I am working on an old
Gateway 450, and am using its original hard drive (The only one I want
to use), and one from another old Gateway, also a Quantum Fireball, I
believe.)

Even if the jumper settings were not correct, couldn't I still see the
bios boot on the screen?

I did use a WD Chart for jumper settings, and it seemed to work. The
chart on the hard drive is a bit confusing, but I could try to use
that. I am not positive how I got it to work before. When I was
messing around in there, I noticed that some of the juimpers that I had
never used were bent. I do not think they were touching, but they
might have been. I pried them apart before trying my last boot.
