Default Windows Networking Pop-Up Error Message

You might find a 'left-over' remnant in either system.ini, autoexec.bat or
even win.ini. If so,
REM out (or delete) the line and see if it clears the problem. Failing that,
try searching thru' your registry (regedit.exe) and see if there's any
reference there.

Warning - That you back-up any/all of those files (and/or Registry) BEFORE
you edit them is implicit.

Good luck

Whenever I start my laptop, an error message pops up in a square box,
headed
"Windows Networking", then in the dialogue box the message reads: "Unable
to
load DLL...... novellnp.dll......"
This missing DLL file relates to a now removed, obsolete programme called
'Novell Netware'.
At the time I had great trouble removing this programme because it
wouldn't
'let go' of many common files. There is obviously still a fragment
remaining
somewhere, generating ths pop-up error message on loading.
How can I stop this message popping up, and /or remove every last byte of
that old programme ?

Graham
