Default Spool32 error

The problem is I still don't know what the "no go" refers to. Is it that you
can't replace spool32.exe or, as I suspect, that replacing spool32.exe doesn't
fix the problem?

As for feeling frustrated Willy, that I do understand. Been There, Done That,
kicked the cat (no, I would never do that) and got the tee-shirt.

All I can suggest now is that you try uninstalling and reinstalling the
printer causing you the problem. I know you can't do this from Printers but
is there possibly an entry in Add/Remove Programs? Alternatively have you
tried Safe Mode?

Regards,

Mike,
I tried you suggestion on previous post and was still getting same
error. Sorry about using "no go", but had been working on PC all day
and had got frustrated, not at you or your suggestions, but just at
the PC.
