Default Windows 98 Network adapter

Check in Start Settings Control Panel Network and see if you have an
entry for the card, if not try using Find New Hardware [Control Panel] to
see if it discovers and shows information on the card.

If these do not work, open the case and physically look at the card for
make and model [unhook power and discharge static electricity first], OR
download a discovery tool like Aida32, a PCI discovery tool, or other like
program to show what is installed.

Once the make and model is found, download the correct driver for it and
configure it properly to work in your network [TCP/IP settings].

If help is needed to configure the adapter, please post back with the
card/adapter make and model, and driver version you use, and with some
information related to your present network configuration [router/modem,
other computer addresses, etc.].
