I don't use Works so cannot comment other than from what I see on the web
site. All I know is that there are two versions, Works and Works Suite.
Works Suite 2006 comes with Microsoft Word 2002 (aka Word XP) whereas the
vanilla Works 8 comes with its own cut down version of a word processor.
Both should be able to read your Works 2000 documents as should any recent
version of Word. Both Works 8 and Works Suite 2006 can be installed on
Win Me although Encarta 2006 which forms part of Works Suite 2006 is only
supported on W2K SP4 or XP.
