When did you last check your system for unwanted malware? When did you
last click and install something from the web?

Your system is infected with malware and needs cleansing.

Try SpyBot Search & Destroy as this should be able to remove what I think
may be a variant of the TNS Searchbar hijacker. You can download SpyBot
from http://www.safer-networking.org/en/home/index.html. Next boot to
Safe Mode, open MSConfig (Start | Run, enter MSConfig in the box and click
OK), open the Startup tab and look for and uncheck if present any entry
labelled [Fast Search] that references the file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\svcnv.exe home. Next clear your Temporary Internet
Files (Control Panel | Internet Options | General | Delete Files and check
the box "Delete All Offline files", click OK and Apply. Now clear your
temporary folder. Finally install and run SpyBot.

Hopefully this will enable you to remove this unwanted malware, if not
please post back with details and someone will try and take it from there.

Hello All,

For some reason, this comes up as my home page:

res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdocnv.dll/warningAPI.htm#ID=MS038005;BGW;

i change it to yahoo.co.uk and click apply, but when i open up
another internet explorer it resets to this again and again.

how do i get it back to my default home page?

many thanks in advance.
