All indications are that WinME is not the subject of attacks anymore,

support for it has been withdrawn, IOW it was a blessing for this to
happen.
But that's just my personal opinion.
I am open for suggestions to the contrary.
As far as I am concerned, WinME will serve me for a long time to come.
Thanks for listening.

I have been using WinME for 6 years and I agree with you . My old E-Towers
633 was my first computer . After learning the hard way with crashes and
reinstallations a couple of times it is now rock solid . WinME is a good
system which in my own opinion was not set right from the factory . I knew
nothing about computers when I got it but set out to read everything I
could
about how to get the best out of it . With some extra ram and some swap
file
tweaks it runs fine . I use cavtel DSL and never cold boot , always let it
go
to standby . With the years that I have running it I can't bring myself to
learn a new system .
Well this is my first post here and I will be watching . Maybe this poor
truck driver can help some one . Have several nice days !

How nice to learn of your love affair with WinME. It somewhat goes parallel
with my own experience.
You are certainly most welcome here and hopefully you'll like it and stay,
to help keep this *productive* group alive.
In due time you will also get to know the main players, or should I say
contributors?
Feel free to make yourself right at home.
Harry.
