AFAIK, you can't rename a directory in DOS. You can only create/delete
directories (MD, DEL & DELTREE commands). Why can't you do it in Windows
Explorer?

Honestly, your intent is lost on me. Does the directory contain anything? If
so, why not move all the contents to the "new" My Documents folder and get
rid of the error folder?

Have you lost any actual files that you wish to retrieve? If so, then you
should stop what you're doing right now and focus on data retrieval. The
more you use the disk, the less likely you'll be able to retrieve data
intact.

the server waiting for download. Windows 98SE has a serious memory
deficiency. It can no longer handle the new software, and my monitor
has dimmed. Internet Marketing and Ftp upload will deplete memory
very quickly. This can be risky when I'm updating my web site.
