The registry link is damaged, or the cd player is changed.
The value on
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AudioCD\shell\play\command\(Defa ult)
tells which program is started at insertion of an audio cd, and with
which parameters. The default value for W98 is
C:\Windows\system\cdplayer.exe /play %1
