You still haven't answered my question. What EXACTLY does winipcfg tell
you about the TF3200. Until and unless you answer those questions there
is NOTHING I or anyone else can do to help you.

I have, at this time, absolutely no interest in the homehub or your
laptop. I am ONLY interested in the connection, or lack of, on your PC
running Win Me. Get that right and then everything else can follow on
from that. Your problem could be as trivial as the internet cable being
either faulty or not plugged in properly at either end.
