Default Sound Help

lol Wrong again Eric, I'm in the UK, it's Heather who is in Canada.

The machine in question is my old WinME machine which I passed over to my
daughter to use while she still lives at home and she knows that if she
wants a new one or anything for that machine she has to buy it herself g

WalMart and Radio Shack are everywhere here. I forgot, you're in
Canada? They might have something similar there, or you could find
cheap ones on the internet. Internet is often just a little more
expensive if you have shipping charges. +/- $10USD is worth it if
you plan on keeping the old PC, or keeping the speakers to use with a
new PC you may be buying soon to replace it. If you're getting a new
package deal PC soon, chances are it comes with speakers whether you
want them or not, and it won't matter anyway if you only want one set.
