I have installed and re-installed the Palm Desktop SW
several times on my Win 98 machine. The reasons for the re-
installation is because I am experiencing a problem with
an "invalid page fault in module MFC42.DLL".

I have contacted Palm Support and was told the problem is
with Micro Soft. I found a simalr instance on the MS
Support site that recommeded removing all duplicate copies
of the file "MFC42.DLL" which I did.

I then re-installed the Palm Desktop sw, and sucessfully
performed a Hotsync. I thought I had fixed the problem
because I was able to see my "contacts" sucessfully.

Unfortunately, when I selected the "Calendar / Date" icon
on the Palm Desktop window the dreaded "invalid page fault
in module MFC42.DLL" error popped up and now I am unable
to launch the Palm Desktop application without getting
the "invalid page fault in module MFC42.DLL".

I have searched the Palm support site and the internet
for 'fixes' and am not satisfied with the results.
