WM-Player streaming audio.
Don,
I posted here, I had originally posted in...
microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player.web. My post NEVER posted. I posted
here because I'm subscribed to this group for many years. I wasn't even sure
it would post to the NG.
SORRY

I'm a old timer, not new to this group--
My question IS regarding WM-Player and I see some othes have posted here
regarding the player.
. . .
I suspect it's security related. I
have added SP-3 to my W-XP OS recently since visiting the page. . . .
** I receive same dialog box--. Windows Media Player cannot play the file
because a network error occurred.
I Click on more info button--
0xC00D11C0: Cannot play the file
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network problem
occurred.
You will not get expert WinXP advice in a NG specializing
in the Win98 OS. Any adviser will probably need to know
your WMP version, OE version, Java settings etc.
