Default CAN'T INSTALL BELKIN NIC DRIVERS

Hi MEB,

Thanks for your response. I'll try to answer all your questions.
The Belkin drivers I tried were versions 1, 2.4, 3.2, 6 & 7.
I tried installing them by their installers and directly from their INF
files (the latter wouldn't work at all!).
I cleaned up as best I could after each time by using the uninstaller,
device manager to remove the device deleting the inf folders under
Windows/inf/other and physically removing the card. I must admit to
forgetting to try MS cleanup utility.
It is Windows 98se and is as updated as it got prior to support being removed.

I'll add more on your second post...

What versions did you try, and how was the installation performed [via
installer or INF]?
Did you clean-up after the failed installs, if not you may have an INF
error per the different software versions.

Tried to find info on Belkin but couldn't get to the site. I did find many
pages which claimed no issues with 98SE. Is that the OS version you are
using and is it fully updated?.
