ms, just to re-cap in simple terms :-

Delete (or rename) ALL .pwl files on your pc - (Search for *.pwl)

Re-boot and when it (the wizard?) asks for a name, enter yourname or
whatever.

DO NOT put anything in the Password box.

Then Press Return - DO NOT CANCEL.

Shut down and Re-boot.

You should no longer be presented with a logon screen.
