Default DKabppls.exe

Answered elsewhere.

If you feel that a question is relevant to more than one newsgroup, it is
better practice to crosspost rather than multipost. That way all responses
appear in each newsgroup and everyone sees the whole discussion.

This file in Windows/system (312KB) opens on startup (Win98 6.0).

Strangely, I can't find any mention of it on GOOGLE or Microsoft Help.

Is it a 'legit' program ? Do I need it ? Do I need it to run on startup
?
The reason I'm asking is there are 2 'windows' that hang up this computer
on
shutdown and I get the warning window "..stopped responding...WAIT ? END
TASK?" but both have NO NAME at the top so I don't know what they are,
where, or why they're running and often WAIT or END TASK won't get it
done.
Neither will CTL ALT DEL X2..
Then I have to power down to shut down which is not a good thing..

I ve pulled the list of Running Programs from CTL/ALT/DEL and this one is
the 'most suspect" ?

Any ideas ?

Is there a better NG where I should ask ?
