Default Networking Card 3Com "3C905B-TX": File "el90xbc5.sys" not fou

Once again why not follow my original suggestion or is there some reason
why you try and do things the long and awkward way? When the installer
asks for files point it at the folder containing the Win Me cab set. Even
better fix/repair the registry so that it does this automatically. You
will then not have to worry about locating and copying the required files.

You can either do this using TweakUI
Start TweakUI, open the My Computer tab, In the section Special Folders
select Installation Path in the drop down box labelled Folder and then
click Change Location and point it at the folder containing the Win Me cab
files
or by using Regedit
Start | Run | Regedit
In the left hand pane browse to the key
HKEY-LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVe rsion\Setup
and then in the right hand pane locate and select the key SourcePath,
double click and in the box that opens enter the correct path to the
folder containing the Win Me cab files.

I tried wgat you suggested and copied the 3 files to system32/drivers
and then started the driver again. It asekd for some more files and
the three named one to copy them to Options/cabs-Folder. After that,
the message "NTKERN ......" was still there, and I tried to
reinstall the driver one more. Now it does not ask for more files
anymore, it seems to reinstall the driver at windows../inf
successfully, but the error and message "NTKERN..." does not
disappear.

But only for USB-Driver, the 2 other errors (keyboard, USB processor)
disappeared after copying the demanded files to the cab-folder.
I tried to start the PC in the safe mode, like described in 265371,
but without success, there is no sign, if the computer has completed
the Power On Self Test.-
