..Thank you, now I restored the system and the networking card seems to be
installed correctly. But now the USB does not fonction anymore with the
notice: The NTKERN.VxD device loaders for this device could not load the
device driver (Code 2). I found the Article 299264 on the MS site and
followed the steps, creating Start Up disk and so on.
But the extracting of the Uhdc.sys etc. files does not work, there is the
error that the Files are not found on the Millenium CD (Null).
I named the Path CD-ROM:/Win9x/BASE2.cab, that is the path, where I found
the files on the CD-ROM. but it does not work with CD-ROM:/Win9x either.
I wrote the files down inthat way: Uhcd.sys Usbhub.sys Usbd.sys, or must
they be separated with an semikolon?

Use system restore to rollback your system to before you started deleting
files. Drivers Windows isn't a Win Me system folder and one that either
you or your PC manufacturer might have created. All of the files required
to provide a basic driver for your card are in the Win Me cab/setup files
located in the same folder as NET4.CAB. Each time you get asked for a
file point the installer at that folder.

shut down by searching for the driver. It did not find a driver on
