If you don't want to use Outlook Express to download your e-mails then
don't use Outlook Express. If you have more than one mail account and
only want to use Outlook Express for only some of those accounts then, in
Outlook Express, delete those mail accounts for which you don't want to
use Outlook Express (Tools | Accounts | Mail select and delete).

I am a beginner at all of this, so speak in english--
verrrry sloooowly I am having lots of system problems
here lately. For some unknown reason, my e-mail is being
stolen from my regular server (bellsouth) by my outlook
express. Any help would be appreciated. I tried to forward
it to myself (to bellsouth) from outlook express- then
problem number 2 kept popping up-it kept throwing me off
the phone connection (dial up).
