Has anybody found any fix for this Slow internet since 1/5/06 problem. I have
read all the posts here but I do not get the feeling that there is a fix. I
too have noticed slow performance since I down loaded a windows update about
that time. Mine loads to a white page, goes to about 98% and then seems to
stop there for about 1-2 minutes. I am using Win 98second edition, Walmart
dial up ( really AOL) which uses Netscape, IE 6 as secondary browser, AVG
free virus, adware, spybot, etc. Nothing comes up. Should I delete IE6 if
possible, and reinstall or or can I?Also, sometimes I get a white page and at
the bottom it says "Done".

registry mechanic and AdAware. Also scanned for viruses. No improvement.
