Obtain the free tool, ShellExView, from Nil Sofer, at
www.nirsoft.net

Install and run it and it will report numerous things about your "My
Documents" folder, which is not a normal file folder, but a Windows System
Object, a COM object, or shell extension.

Repost here with any helpful info from the tool's report, and MVP Mike
Maltby will help you.
