Default Reinstall over Windows XP Pro SP2

1. FDISK, from a 98 Windows Startup floppy disk will get rid of a primary XP
partition just fine. Just won't handle NTFS Extended partitions/Logical
drives

2. The restore disk mentioned is for the XP that's now on his machine. Why
would it need a WIN98 folder? Why would it HAVE one?

3. The whole point of the post is that his XP needs repair and he doesn't
have a XP Restore disk to do that with, so because he DOES have a Win98
disk, he wants to know how to use the Win98 disk to do something, anything.

You got it COMPLETELY WRONG, as you so often do. Now, would you like to hire
me to follow you around and explain every single post to you?

Is there a way I can install Windows 98 on a computer that has Wind XP
Pro

SP2?
I know it sounds silly but I dont have a restore disk only a disk with
Win
98 on it.
Or is there way I can reinstall Win XP Pro with my Win 98 disk?

First off, to install win98 after XP would require to to repartition your
HD
and to use a 3rd party boot manager.
But a restore disk would not work anyway unless it's the type that has an
actual win98 folder on it
(as opposed to a restore image)

If your machine has XP up and running...
there should be no need to use win98
