Default blocking porn on the internet

Hi there,

We are on win 98, and are using MSN uk as our home page/browser. We have
other browsers in our favourites list, i.e google, Alta vista, etc, for
specific searches when required.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your query (it looks like lots of
suggestions are coming in), but thought I'd point out as it might save some
confusion sometime - unless the above was a slip of the tongue or electronic
equivalent:

MSN uk is (I think) an internet service provider. They have presumably set
your browser to start on one of their pages, i. e. as its "home page". The
browser is very likely to be Internet Explorer; other browsers include
Netscape, Opera, Firefox, and (IIRR) AllByOne.

Google, AltaVista, etc. are search engines; you can use (most of) them with
(almost) any browser. (The fact you mentioned "favourites" does indeed
suggest you're using IE as your browser, as Netscape calls them bookmarks
[and stores them differently].)

Hope that is helpful ...
