Microsoft released a free Security Update CD in February 2004 that
contained all patches and fixes for Win Me up until around October 2003
including IE6 SP1, WMP9 and DirectX 9. The CD also contained security
updates for Win 98/98SE, Windows 2000 and XP. Unfortunately this CD was
withdrawn around September 2004 and I am unaware of any plans to release
an updated version. It is just possible that if you were to contact your
local Microsoft office that you might be able to obtain a copy. Perhaps
you have a friend or colleague who has a copy and could loan it to you.
