It means that the methodology you are using is incorrect and that you can't
simply copy MS Office from one machine to another in the way that you are
attempting which might have been OK in the days of DOS but not with an
application such as Office that stores lots of information in the registry.

Incidentally, whilst you might have a licence to run Office 97, note that
that licence is for Office to be installed on one PC.

I don't think you should be posting that you intend stealing Microsoft
software, albeit a product that is no longer supported, in a newsgroup run
by Microsoft.
