I have an 80Gb HDD which is being recognised by the BIOS

get Win98 to regonise the full size of the drive?
Fdisk Does Not Recognize Full Size of Hard Disks Larger than 64 GB

Hi Ron, although I haven't read MS' KB docs ..
Uh..why not?
I've got two 80gig Barracudas
running under Win 98SE without any problems.
You say "without any problems", but above you say 98 is not recognizing
the full size of the drive. If you read the article on fdisk, you'd see it relates
to your (non)problem.
80*(1000^3) - 64*(1024^3) = 10.5GB
